How to deploy/upload PAR file in SAP Portal

The gadget spec URL could not be found How to deploy/upload PAR file in SAP Portal Portal applications are packaged in PAR (Portal Archive) files. A PAR file is a standard ZIP file with a .par extension that contains a deployment  descriptor, all Java classes, Web resources and other files required to run the application. One can deploy the par file using NWA or Portal Administration Console. To deploy a PAR file follow following steps. 1. Log into SAP Portal using following URL     http://hostname:<port>/irj/portal  2. Now go to "System Administration" -> "Support" -> "Portal Runtime" (shown below). 3.Click on "Portal Runtime" and then click on "Administration Console" 4.Go to "Archive Uploader" section and browse to the PAR file and press UPLOAD.
